Dr. Ibram X. Kendi is a National Book Award-winning historian, professor, and leading scholar on race and antiracism. He is the founding director of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research and has written numerous bestselling books exploring race, history, and public policy. Dr. Keisha N. Blain is an award-winning historian, professor, and author whose research focuses on Black history, gender, and political activism in the United States and the African diaspora. Her work amplifies the voices and experiences of Black women and global Black communities. Together, Kendi and Blain assembled a collective of ninety historians, writers, poets, and scholars to tell the story of four hundred years of African American history.
